FOUNDER OF LCAM
President Message
You can think a thousand thoughts - but things only happen when you start taking action. Being able to create positive influence and inspire those around me have always been something I hold close to my heart, my deeply rooted passion for philanthropy led to the birth of LCAM - bringing everything together in an effort to create real change and impact.
This quote by Denzel Washington struck a chord with me: “You will never see a U-Haul behind a hearse. I believe that whatever we’ve acquired in this life, we can’t take with us.” To me, reaching out to the poor, needy, and underprivileged communities are the best way to live by that code. Not everyone is born into blessed surroundings, building orphanages will empower less fortunate children towards a brighter tomorrow and beyond through better living, education, and knowledge.

Vice President Message
Of the 6 keys results against a target for children by UNICEF and partners through the first eight months of 2019, education was the lowest at 34% (vs. health at 89%). Despite a concerted global effort to support the underprivileged, poor, and orphans, a multitude of constraints such as limited humanitarian funds, challenging operating environments, and limited capacities of implementing partners just to name a few, hampered these efforts.
This just goes to show that when it comes to creating further opportunities for children through education, there is always more that could and can be done. As the great Nelson Mandela once said, education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. I passionately believe that education is truly the way towards a brighter future - it is the foundation in which famine and conflict are eroded, where innovation and breakthroughs are discovered, and hopeful, young individuals become great leaders.
